CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

Entry Fees

Entries will close on Wednesday 22nd June 2011
Entries on the day are subject to availability on the day along with a surcharge of £2 per rider.
No telephone entries will be accepted.
No refunds will be given even in the unlikely event that the organisers have to cancel the funride.

Restrictions on Entry

No unaccompanied children under the age of 12 years.
All horses/ponies participating in the event must be sound and in good health.
Tack must be in a safe state of repair.

Rules for the Day

Maximum of 8 riders per start time.
Start times will be posted 2 – 3 days prior to the event.
Numbers must be displayed at all times on the course.
All riders must register with the organisers before starting the course.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Any dispute will be resolved by the committee. The committee’s decision is final.

Health & Safety

Hard hats and suitable footwear must be worn (cross country skull caps to PAS015, EN1384, ASTMF1163 or equivalent).
Back protectors are strongly advised.

Disclaimer

Horse riding over man-made and other obstacles is an inherently dangerous activity and all reasonable care and precautions must be taken by each rider to ensure that all riders, spectators, horses and property are not injured or damaged. The committee confirm that they will inspect the course and fences and will exercise reasonable care to ensure that they are safe. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by the committee’s negligence no responsibility is accepted by the committee for any damage to any persons, horses or property however caused. During the course of the event it is possible that the fences or the course may become less safe. All riders should be under a continuing duty to notify the committee of any damage they have caused or have noticed in any fence or the course during the event.
